Community Guidelines

At ArtWink, we aim to create a vibrant, respectful, and secure community where artists, buyers, and sellers can connect and engage in a positive, productive manner. These guidelines outline the standards for behavior, content, and interactions on our platform. By using ArtWink, you agree to abide by these Community Guidelines.

1. Respectful and Professional Conduct

  • Respect Others: Treat all members of the ArtWink community with respect, regardless of their background, opinions, or artistic style. Harassment, abusive language, discrimination, and personal attacks will not be tolerated.

  • Professionalism: All transactions and communications between buyers and sellers should be conducted with professionalism and courtesy. Disputes should be handled respectfully, and ArtWink is available to mediate when necessary.

2. Authenticity and Integrity

  • Be Honest: Sellers must accurately represent their artwork, including its condition, dimensions, medium, and authenticity. Misleading or false descriptions are strictly prohibited.

  • No Plagiarism or Theft: All artwork uploaded to the platform must be original or properly licensed for sale. Selling stolen, counterfeit, or plagiarized art is strictly forbidden and will result in immediate account termination.

3. No Inappropriate Content

  • Prohibited Content: Users are prohibited from uploading, posting, or sharing any content that is:

    • Obscene, offensive, or pornographic.

    • Depicts violence or hatred.

    • Promotes illegal activity, including the sale of stolen or prohibited items.

    • Contains defamatory, libelous, or harmful material.

  • Safe for All Audiences: ArtWink is designed to be a safe space for people of all ages. Artwork and user content should adhere to community standards, and ArtWink reserves the right to remove any content that we deem inappropriate.

4. Zero Tolerance for Hate Speech

  • No Discrimination: We do not tolerate hate speech or content that discriminates based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, or any other protected characteristic. Violations will lead to immediate suspension or permanent ban from the platform.

  • Positive Environment: Encourage a culture of kindness and inclusion. Criticism of another user’s work should be constructive and respectful.

5. No Fraudulent Activity

  • No Scamming: Users must not engage in fraudulent activity, including false representation of products, failure to fulfill transactions, or manipulation of platform features to deceive others.

  • Accurate Payment and Shipping: Buyers and sellers must provide accurate shipping and payment information. Any attempt to defraud other users through non-payment, incorrect shipping details, or chargebacks without justification is prohibited.

6. Respect Privacy

  • No Unsolicited Contact: Do not use ArtWink to spam, harass, or send unsolicited messages to other users. All communications should be relevant to the platform’s purpose of buying and selling art.

  • Personal Data: Respect the privacy of other users. Do not collect, share, or disclose anyone’s personal information without their consent.

7. Fair and Transparent Sales

  • Clear Pricing: Sellers must list the full and accurate price of their artwork, including any additional fees or shipping costs, upfront.

  • No Price Manipulation: Artificially inflating or manipulating the price of artwork or creating fake sales to deceive buyers is strictly prohibited.

8. Collaboration and Networking

  • Engagement: We encourage artists to connect, collaborate, and share creative ideas in a constructive and positive way. This platform is meant to foster artistic growth, and respectful collaboration can enrich the entire community.

  • Constructive Feedback: If you provide feedback on artwork, ensure it is supportive and constructive. Avoid making offensive or unnecessary comments.

9. Compliance with Legal and Ethical Standards

  • Follow the Law: All users are required to comply with local, national, and international laws and regulations when using ArtWink, including the sale and shipment of artwork. Illegal content or activities will be reported to the authorities.

  • Art Authentication: Sellers must authenticate their artwork according to ArtWink’s guidelines. If requested, you may need to provide additional proof of authenticity, ownership, or licensing to confirm the legitimacy of your listing.

10. Reporting Violations

  • Flagging Inappropriate Content: If you come across content or behavior that violates these guidelines, please report it to us immediately. Our team will review the report and take appropriate action, which may include removing content, suspending accounts, or banning users.

  • Dispute Resolution: We encourage users to resolve minor disputes amicably. However, in cases where further assistance is needed, you may contact ArtWink’s support team to help mediate issues.

11. Enforcement and Consequences

  • Account Suspension or Termination: Violating these guidelines may result in a temporary suspension, permanent ban, or other penalties as deemed appropriate by ArtWink.

  • Three-Strike Policy: Users who repeatedly violate our guidelines will face termination after three verified infractions. Depending on the severity of the violation, immediate termination may occur.

12. Changes to the Guidelines

We may update these Community Guidelines from time to time to reflect changes in our platform, community standards, or legal obligations. Users will be notified of significant changes, and continued use of the platform will constitute acceptance of any new guidelines.
